What are Svix webhooks?
Svix webhooks send an HTTP request when an event occurs in your Svix account. Teams use them to react to events from services that deliver webhooks through Svix without repeatedly polling an API. Hookflo gives each delivery a searchable record and can notify the right team when an event arrives or signature verification fails.
Events to monitor
Choose the event types that matter in your Svix configuration. Common examples include:
- user lifecycle events
- payment events
- resource updates
Connect Svix to Slack or email
- Create a webhook in Hookflo and select Svix.
- Copy the unique Hookflo webhook URL.
- In Svix Dashboard → Applications → Endpoints, add the Hookflo URL and choose the event types to send.
- Copy the endpoint signing secret from Svix. Hookflo verifies Svix delivery signatures and timestamps with that endpoint secret.
- Save the endpoint, send a test event, and choose Slack or email for notifications.
Verify signatures and debug delivery issues
Use the signing secret for the exact Svix endpoint. A secret from a different endpoint or environment will not validate the message.
When a delivery fails, check the selected event, destination URL, and provider-specific signing secret first. Hookflo keeps the event payload and verification result together so the issue is easier to diagnose.

Yes. Choose Svix when creating the Hookflo webhook and save the endpoint signing secret from Svix. Hookflo then verifies incoming signatures before recording them as valid.
